I keep thinking, e-cars are only as clean as the source of electricity to recharge them.

If the govt stops supporting oil companies the price of climate destroying gas will double.
There still environmental risk on disposal of batteries so it isn’t as green as people say it is
And I’m sure the price of electricity will not go up. /S
Living in the part of the world that produces oil, I’m thrilled to see the prices go up.
That means our government gets more revenue and we get a new wing at our university.
I would be interested in buying an electric but we are snowbirds and travel 1200+ miles/1930+ Km each way so I don’t really want to add all that charging time to our trips.
They mustn’t be very far from home
