John McGraw, who managed the New York Giants a little over 100 years ago, used to say, “You thought! With What?” if a player made a bad decision and used the words “I thought” to him.

Considering that last week’s comics were all about how horrible most black movies were, it still confuses me as to how Huey gets so bent out of shape over these things. I mean, last week’s comics seemed to give me the idea that Huey had MORE depth than Garfield.

SaintRCat, you just don’t get it. It’s all about having to live Black as perceived thru White eyes. Try it sometime. It’s a real eye-opener. (Pardon the pun)

I wonder if Huey is aware of how racist he is himself.

From what I read about McGruder in Wikipedia, he apparently is Huey, at least politically. So what is McGruder doing these days?

I understand where Huey is coming from, but he has to take into consideration that Jasmine is trying. He shouldn’t be so mean. I bet the next time Jasmine gets Huey a card it will be from the Mahogany section. What’s up with the boondocks greeting cards?

Huey needs to accept a nice gesture done to make him feel better without putting conditions on it.
