The best panning comment about this photo OP was that she was wearing a white silk outfit to cook black beans….I mean…come on….Who does that?…..only some one with no real experience in a kitchen? … Aside from Ivanka breaking the law (did anyone expect better behavior from the dRumpth’s chief in-house enabler?)… there has got to be a specialness to cooking black beans while wearing white silk. …another photo-op that the res* tweeted out was of him marketing Goya products spread out over the Resolute desk in the oval office…just another example of bad taste culture chasing from the Twit-in-high-office.

@Andylit You’re right that there are a lot of cartoonists commenting on the same issue, but don’t try to say that it doesn’t happen with conservative cartoonists, because it does, and far more often.

Aside from which, it’s actually only natural that many cartoonists gravitate toward the same topical issues.

Andy, are you feeling ok? Today’s display does not seem up to your usual caliber of trolling. Usually you don’t bother with the low-hanging fruit like one cartoonist having work similar to an other’s.

I suggest that instead of focusing on the FORM of the comic you focus on the message itself. That our president, and his entire family, are misusing the authority that we have bestowed upon them. Unless you think that it is ok for them to be shilling for, well, for anyone. He’s OUR boy, bought and paid for, and he needs to act like it.

I don’t see the “situation” on the border in the papers these days. I guess that story got boring.

It’s funny that none of you have addressed the truly twisted image here. Hispanic kid in a cage? Implying that Goya is caging children, or is it using them for slave labor, or…what the hell are they trying to say?

I don’t give a rat’s rump about Ivanka shilling Goya. But the implications of the kid in a cage? That is absolutely despicable and sick. What evidence is there to even whisper such a thing, much less blast it out worldwide?
