This isn’t so far from what really happened. The Wright brothers began testing their wing warp control system with large, winged kites and eventually built one big enough to lift a man. If I recall correctly, their first manned kite weighed less than 100 pounds.

Went to the Air and Space museum in Tucson, and saw a life sized replica of the plane that made the first, short flight. It was a marvel of ingenuity. The Wright brothers were amazing.

There should be a giant paperclip on the.nose.

Anybody can fly. It just takes a real genius to land safely!
