So, not that I’m paying too much attention as there are other better ways to waste time, apparently Kit does not know Bandit met Paisley in jail and Bandit did not realize Paisley is Capt Nimble’s long lost twin sister. Needs a few more twists to the “ plot “ line. Also love how Georgia captures the soap way of torturously embedding exposition into dialog.
It was Marie’s and my anniversary yesterday. 27 years of fun, laughing, tears, successes, epic-failures, anger, dust-ups, reconciliations, children and of course…cats…lots of cats. We spent the day taking Alexandria on her first college visit. It does not seem possible that Alex is already planning to go to college. When I look at her, I still see the little girl that I could make happy with a horse toy or plush animal.
Alex is looking at several colleges where she can study Art and History. She draws beautifully and she is also knows/learning taxidermy. Her dream job would be working at a museum like the Field Museum in Chicago.
My brother’s daughter went to college and has a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (RN). She has been working at a hospital throughout this Pandemic. Alex will go to college and let her talents and gifts take her so many places.
Two grand daughters, two outstanding young women. Shirley Jean is smiling.
OT: Thanks to everyone who gave Katie a welcome to our family. In 24 hours, she has managed to make a slave out of Hubby and take over his office and let him know that when she sits on his lap, when he working at the computer, that he can’t ignore her. She reaches up and taps at his face. We will see how that goes in the future.
We knew feral tortie momcat Sahara was expecting kittens any day now, but yesterday afternoon, without a lot of prelabor or other fanfare, suddenly she went pew pew pew pew pew & gave birth to 5 little ones in the space of about an hour. 3 girls (2 torties & a calico) & 2 boys (a tuxie & a panther) & mom are doing great!
I know it SOUNDS weird that the police would be concerned about a naval rescue operation but that kind of thing is perfectly normal in the world of soap opera.
Today is Yo-Yo Day, so it can be "Yo! Yo! Day, or Yoyo Day, depending on what kind of yoyos youse are dealing with. In any event, today will have its ups and downs, around the world, around the corner, riding the elevator, while walking the dog, etc. I’ll leave it to Robin and Gent to describe and debate the physics involved. Be sure to take notes, as they will be having a short quiz next week—assuming, of course that time exists.
The western yo-yo is derived from the “Chinese yo-yo,” more properly called a “Diabolo,” and frankly, diabolical no matter how you stick with it.
Help me out, orbsters! I’m working on a little fan art project and I can’t find the comic that has an overhead shot of the living room! I think it’s in a robber mice arc? If anyone can link me to it, I’d be so very grateful!
You know, being “lost at sea” doesn’t necessarily have to mean “lost” as in he doesn’t know where he is. It could also mean “lost” as in his ship sank and only Davy Jones (not the Monkee, may he RIP) knows where he and it are.

“Is Kit trying to set up Bandit with Paisley?” is the sort of question that someone who was watching this deck might ask.
Since I’m not watching, I won’t ask that.

Natasha would like to climb right into the TV, but she looks like she’s breaking the 4th wall even though she’s talking to the guys at the table.

Even though I’m not really watching this ’nip opera, the question must be asked: Just how many times has Captain Nimble gotten lost at sea?
Follow up question: Why isn’t he considering a job that will keep him on land? Clearly, his navigation skills are not up to snuff!

From Don McLean: American Pie
Sigh, sigh, Captain Nimble, oh my!
Lost at sea, how can it be? How did he even try?
Now Princess and Angora, they both cry,
And Brad, he continues to lie,
Brad, he continues to lie.
…….
Did you set sail in the midst of a storm?
And subject your lady to her father’s scorn?
What about your kittens, why did you go?
Now I know that Princess is your love!
And haven’t you traveled quite enough?
You love each each other so,
But still you had to go!
Kit and Bandit will both do their best,
To find you so everyone can rest,
But we must all face one hard test,
’Cause this is Our Nine Lives!

Meanwhile, Back on the Nile
Queen Catshepsut the Golden: Before we return to Egypt, we will stop and visit Cosmo’s Garden.
Beatrixia: Will we have time to share a cup of tea with Trevor-Hotep?
The Queen: I don’t see why not. We’ll have cookies as well.
Beatrixia: Trevor calls them biscuits.
Lupinium: Rumor has it some Blossoms of Blessing have gone missing.
Elvis-Anum: I wonder who could have stolen them? Strange no one’s seen User-Brad lately.
At Cosmo’s Garden
Trevor-Hotep: Welcome, friends! Avenger and Emma are here as well, picking out flowers for their wedding.
The Queen: Looking forward to it.
Trevor-Hotep: I have an unexpected guest as well. A rather bedraggled User-Brad took shelter from the recent storm.
Beatrixia: Brad, you look like something the Human dragged in. Looking for more Blossoms of Blessing?
User-Brad: Alas, I may have been tempted to take a few blossoms for my lady, but I have learned my lesson.
All (sotto voce): (Sure you have.)
