It is a phenomenon! When I went back to MO for the eclipse the red eyed guys were just emerging & shedding their exoskeleton. It’s the stuff of nightmares when they rear back after they pop out at the shoulder. But after they unfurl their wings & dry out for a few days they look like Asian jewels! There weren’t enough yet to shriek by April 12 when I returned to NM. My sisters have sent videos of how loud they are now!
Denny, talk to your therapist about your possibly being “on the spectrum.” Either way, not recognizing social cues is something you can work through in therapy, even practicing dialogue.Not beating ourselves up falls under self care; easier said than done!I wish you the best going forward. XOXO
