The only sure way to avoid grudges for offenses is to actually forget them.

And that is precisely why this friendship has lasted as long as it has! Very good of Trout.

Genius. Forget and forgive is definitely easier than forgive and forget.

Just thought I would leave a comment for Agnes readers about Covid 19. I work so far in advance that I rarely have the opportunity to address topical issues. The pandemic is one of those issues. I don’t know how the pandemic will turn out ,so in “Agnes world” it will not be addressed. If we all end up getting wiped out, I may consider it.

    It’s all goofy and skewed

    And shot full of holes

    I’m amazed [that] it’s lasted

    As long as it has

That’s very poetic — as is much of the dialogue in “Agnes.” And the “goofy and skewed and shot full of holes” part is triggering a subconscious ear worm. It’s reminiscent of a song lyric, but I can’t quite put my finger on it.
