It seems your ‘worse enemy’ helped you improve.

Ok, really think about the phrase “worst enemy”, isn’t your worst friend an enemy? So that would really mean that his worst enemy is really his friend. Ow, sprained my brain; shutting up now.

Darkeforce and Chikuku have it right. Mrs. Hardacre likes him enough to make an effort to help him be a better person. I try to explain this to my kids also.

If you look at this comic without reading the words, it looks like he’s reading a romantic card. :-)

I don’t know if teachers now days with big class size can do this with all student’s. They have to get so much work done with students every min and hour.

The only time I can remember being the ‘enemy’ of a teach, was when I was sent to ‘resource room’ and walked in “Hey Joe! How’s it hangin’?” Instead of spending the period in detention, I was sent home for the day, and grounded. L

I only had one awful teacher in the 8th grade. Mrs. Tamarkin. So mean.

Check to make sure you got the right person’s report card, Michael!

Michael has to have a yellow halo above his head to be good boy in Mrs. Hardacre’s classroom at the school but he can be a mischief to goof around and play tricks somewhere else.

This reminds me of an old “Andy Griffith Show” episode. Opie made such good grades on his report card that his proud father bought him a brand new bicycle to celebrate! Only problem was, the teacher made a mistake and accidentally wrote another kid’s grades down on Opie’s report card instead.

I felt so bad for Opie in that episode.
