He’s NOT CRAZY! Just intense.

So glad to see Gene and family.

So this year instead of being starving restaurateurs, they’re going to be starving farmers.

Tried living off the land once, ran out of helium for the balloons.

Poor Janis. What’s she guano do with the men in her life?

TRANSLATION IN A NUTSHELL: Yes, he has.

He is lucidity-challenged.

Bat soup crazy?

That could be my older son talking to my wife.

TRANSLATION “You are as bad as he is.”

When some one says the nut does not fall far from the tree, it means that his children are as bad as he is.

Crazy is as crazy does.

This one shocked me today!

Mad cow crazy??

Yeah, this one is getting forwarded to my wife & sons…………………

We do not change as we get older, we become a more distilled version of ourselves, good or bad.

I’ve always been different with one foot over the line,

Winding up somewhere one step ahead or behind.

It ain’t been so easy but I guess I shouldn’t complain,

I’ve always been crazy but it’s kept me from going insane.

Maybe they should have a roadside produce stand with the food as a sideline…

And yet it’s always Janis they show gardening. Go figure.

Realistically, going with a big garden is a good idea. A LOT of people I know, myself included, are buying produce boxes from local farms.

I don’t know about that Janis, compared to Arlo I think Gene is down to earth. Maybe that’s why he’s a good Farmer.

Sally and Ted Forth, old family friends of Mary Lou, will be glad to offer advice about that garden, Gene! …
