Gas prices are going up because oil companies and speculators who made record profits for the last 2 years want to raise prices. The profits from previous years should enable oil companies to handle anything happening in the Middle East without raising prices, but the uprisings are a great excuse to make even more money at the middle class’ expense. If I didn’t have to use my car (to get to work so I can pay for gas and heat) I would boycott.

A regime like that can’t last much longer, religious or not.
People have a limit to how much they can be pushed around. Fear of the outside world can inrease that limit, but not eliminate it.
Through the web, the muslim youth discovers the outside World. They find out there is more to it than the “Great Satan” the mullahs told them about.
They start thinking and when they start, there’s no way to stop them.

Every conservative knows the real reason gas will hit $5 bucks a gallon.
Because they heard somewhere ( tho’ they’re not quite sure exactly where ) that Obama WANTS it that way.

I think we would all be happy with gas $5 a barrel as opposed to $5 a gallon
