Gralvin Caham Did that mean he wasn’t eligible to enlist when he turned 18?

I can handle squishing an ant barehanded easier than a spider so if I made the mistake, it would mean squishing more spiders barehanded than I normally squish barehanded.

Take care and may God bless.

anything to serve your country, huh, Graham? (if I recall, even Cotton Hill enlisted in the Army during WW2 also at 13; he lost his shins to “Tojos”)

Calvin was born about 90 years too late. I believe the Civil War was the last time children were allowed to join the military.

How is it that nobody noticed he was a kid?!

Ancient astronaut theorists suggest that strange extraterrestrials were involved in this skeleton lake racket.

Why was he dishonorably discharged? I knew a guy in the Marines who had enlisted at 15, was caught later, honorably discharged, then rejoined when he was 18. No dishonorable discharge.

Wikipedia has an article on Calvin Graham. It’s worth reading!

Is there perhaps some religious reason the lake is filled with skeletons?

Roopkund Lake: Apparently centuries ago a group of travelers got caught out on the open plains in an enormous hailstorm, and all died (the skulls all show damage that fits the theory). The floods from the rain and melting hailstones washed the bodies down into the lake which preserved them.

He should have not been dishonorably discharged. Mustered out, yes. Perhaps with a general discharge or undesirable, at the most.

How big a lake is it, if 500 human skeletons can fill it? And if it is full of bones, is it still considered a lake?

Destroy those spiders. They deserve death for appropriation.

Man, I did not need to know that factoid about spiders… I hope none of those sneaky arachnids live in New England. I don’t like bugs, but I’ve always felt like the common black ant is one of the few trustworthy insects (along with ladybugs, of course).
