The year needed to be drawn-and-quartered before setting afire.

Unfortunately, 2020 is going to be as uncivil as 2016.

If anybody thinks any Blue or Red politician in any office will make any difference, should not be allowed to vote!

I mentioned to someone that 2020 was an election year. She said last time, we had a choice between a crazy man and a criminal. I said in 2020, they’re all crazy.

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of light, it was the season of darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.” Charles Dickens, “A Tale of Two Cities”

I transfer important dates like birthdays onto my paper calendar, but I keep my old calendars in case I need to check on certain events in the past. And, yes, paper calendars are old school, but they work remarkably well for visual references to plan your month.

I think if we all tried to live our lives outside of politics this year we would ALL get along a lot better. And we would probably be happier. We have allowed the ugliness of politics to color all aspects of our lives.

Remember when we couldn’t wait to get out of 2016? And then wished we had it back?

I’m not pinning my hopes on 2020. Maybe 2021 will be better.

I don’t know why everyone’s complaining. Life is good and I’ve had a fantastic 2019. But, then again, I don’t base my happiness on my political leanings. My 401(k) is booming, my job is great, I’m making more money than ever before and even have more time to enjoy it. I’m looking forward to an even better 2020.
