I know it was a “heat of battle” adrenaline (and probably catnip) thing but, oh Wally… :( not a good way to make a first impression on a town. Especially when the cop(s) come in and see this.

And as usual the good guy that tried to help will get arrested. No justice, the big guy should be euthanized and Wally given a metal.

I really admire the complexity of the situation here. It’s more than just catnip: it’s an alienated-feeling, non-violent individual inadvertently harming the one who has been reaching out to him. I imagine Wally - who already feels very out-of-place - will withdraw further, even though Allie will most likely forgive the painful response. For a comic, Aaron really touches into stressed relationships, giving a depth of realism that may be casually read and enjoyed, or examined for the complexities of humanity. Awesome stuff.

It’s not just a cat thing. Never grab someone from behind while they’re fighting. For all he knew it was a buddy of the big guy trying to gang up on him.

At first, I about to ask if Allie’s an alligator or a crocodile, but then I caught her name: “Allie”, as in “Alligator” or “gator” for short as they’re called here in the south.

I hope Allie will forgive Wally. He was just under the influence of the cat nip.
