^ That’s so true- there are a lot of Americans who blindly follow the orders of Fox news and/or crazy preachers rather than inform themselves and think rationally about what happens in the world around us.
We need to accept the American Taliban doesn’t want Democracy, and move on.
How careful Obama was in mincing words with the Egyptian dictator’s régime that our government supports. When it supposedly fell he was quick to encourage the same action by the people of Iran. Now that it has spread to other countries in the region whose kings and dictators our government also supports, there is once again silence from the white house. It seems our government believes in democracy, but only in moderation, much like what we have in America.

sayhow, I’ve been chatting via twitter with those people for almost a month and none of them want american money. If anything, they want the american government to STOP giving money to those dictators. All they want is words; they want Obama to tell those leaders to step down.
The Arab/Islamic definition of Democracy: We elect the ones that will institute sharia law, expel all infidels and wage jihad on the rest of the world until we conform the world to islam.
