I have a hard time believing that God would go to all the time and effort to put this grand universe together and only place life on one planet.

“Beam me up, Scottie … There’s no intellegent life left down here.”

I am not that ambitious, I would settle for intelligent life in one white house in Washington DC.

Monty Python’s “Galaxy Song” put it quite well – “…and pray that there’s intelligent life somewhere out in space, ‘cause there’s bugger-all down here on Earth!”

Out there maybe, Here definitely not.

You’ll notice that when they are looking for intelligence in the universe, they point the telescopes AWAY from Earth.

Smart enough not to visit here!

Check out the 1950s movie The Day The Earth Stood Still for a good comparison of alien intelligent life versus life on Earth.

Both are very questionable, Gracie.
