Let’s play a game. The car door on Arial’s version of The Squad’s car says “Far left policy.” The bumper sticker says, “Caution: This vehicle makes left turns only.” What would be on the door of Trump’s car instead of “far left policy?” What would Trump’s policy car have as a bumper sticker?
Hmmmm. A group of women with solid policy ideas vs. no policy ideas whatsoever.
Four women telling the truth vs. 12,000 lies.
Oh, wait, the psychopathic malignant narcissist DOES have policy ideas. Build a wall. Gut healthcare financing. Spread racist tropes. Jail children. Get elected using treasonous tactics.
The only thing the psychopath does well is lie, lie, lie, and then lie some more.
And four duly elected members of Congress call him on it. And they are the ones going over the cliff? What nonsense!!
America is being driven over the cliff by tiny, obviously. And the regressives love it!
Left policies benefit the largest number of persons, while the current right policies benefit only the people at the top of income level. Using Ronny’s totally failed trickle-down business plan, the right has parlayed all the monies with their wealthy friends and corporations.
And why do so many poor whites vote for Trump? Maybe Hilary was right when talking about those deplorables, though not bad people, they may be the most gullible ones.
Stop with this “squad” nonsense. Each is her own woman. Intelligent, rational, and devoted to America and her constituency. I am proud to have voted for Rep Ilhan Omar.
“The reasonable [wo] man adapts [her/]himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable [wo]man.” GBS
If the Republican party hadn’t moved to the extreme Right, the progressives of the Democratic party would appear more as New Deal FDR Democrats. There is no “far left” party (or party wing) in the USA.
Arial and others spend every waking hour creating bizarre illusions for themselves about Democrats and Liberals so they don’t have to confront the evils they blindly support.
Arial clearly doesn’t know what socialism is. If the Democrats were actually far left, they would be demanding that workers rise up and seize the means of production.
You do know that almost all other western countries laugh when you call the Squad “far left”. But then, your typical Democrat is technically slightly right of center.
I think Ariail is a middle of the road “America right of wrong” kind of guy. Rather than evaluate the situation based on the facts, he trusts the government to do the right thing. He doesn’t seem to see that the status quo hasn’t been so static for nearly two generations and that road has been veering to the right for 40 years.
When you cannot imagine that something like universal access to health care is a good thing, then you cannot imagine that support for it is wide spread. The GOP is, in fact, a mental condition whose primary symptom is lack… of: Imagination, empathy, ability to foresee consequences…
Watched the headlines on the Fox “News” screen and managed to listen t it for about 2 minutes. In that 2 minutes, Fox had an in-depth discussion “we’re calling them the Squad now? I thought we were calling them the Crew. I want to go back to calling them the Crew”. The headlines included nonsense like “Trump will watch a little bit of the Mueller report”.
Single Payer – corporate run healthcare does not work. There are plans used by other countries that work much better for both results (lifespan, infant/maternal mortality) and cost control. The U.S. taxpayers pay for R&D at pharma yet pay again when their charges are nor controlled.
Reparations – IMO income inequality is what needs to be addressed. Raise the minimum wage and regulate employers better. the SCOTUS decision that said employers could mandate arbitration which favors the corporation was wrong. Tax companies that use the most resources. Nestle takes water from public sources and then sells it in environmentally UNfriendly plastic bottles. Amazon pays no taxes while sucking up resources.
Free college – state colleges used to be free or at least very affordable. An educated society benefits everyone.
Green stuff – renewables is a new industry that is creating jobs. Eliminate fossil fuel subsidies and invest in the development of other options.
Free stuff – tired of this nonsense. Tax the wealthy and corporations to pay their fair share and support the people. Why should I pay taxes that Amazon doesn’t when they take up far more resources than I do? Talk about “free stuff”
Prisoners voting – once people have served their time, they should be able to vote. There is a wide spectrum on this issue, but IMO if you are currently residing in prison, you shouldn’t be able to vote. Jail can be different as many have not been proven guilty.
Open borders – another BS claim that I’m tired of. There are plenty of proposals that were made while trump whined that it wasn’t for the wall he wanted.
Attacks on law enforcement – there are far too many black people dying at the hands of law enforcement. Tamir Rice. Eric Garner. Many police departments focused on hiring veterans and I’m concerned that these former soldiers aren’t re-trained enough and they react as if they are in a war zone.

Ariail must be afraid of them, too.
