When you’re in the middle of the game, you’re so caught up in the action, you don’t know what’s going on around you. But Moms are watching all of the action!
The most nerve wracking thing is being a parent of a goalie. I had one son who was a center and another who was a goalie. Center is much easier to watch.
The other day, the coach had brown hair and a black mustache. One of the refs looked like this guy. Is he the team ref (“we scored”)? Or is he an assistant coach acting as a ref? Or is it just coincidence he’s wearing a striped shirt?

Soccer in our family. When my son was 6 he scored a goal and I ran onto the field and gave him a big hug.
