In non hayfever related news, the Daily Cartoonist reports (and their own website confirms) that the Winston-Salem Journal have picked up Nancy, Breaking Cat News, the Flying McKoys, and Luann for some reason, replacing Get Fuzzy, For Better or For Worse, Ziggy and the weekday installments of Doonesbury.
They’ve also taken the brave (shall we say) step of replacing Non Sequitur with Marmaduke on Sundays, elading to my ongoing astonishment Marmaduke is still a thing that exists*.
I’m inclined to print an enlarged copy of this strip and snip out some of the figures to make an “Abbey Road” tableau. Or heck, use all of ‘em for a "Keep on Truckin’" parade.
My boss is one of those people who isn’t happy unless he’s complaining about something. Even when something would make anyone else happy, he has some negative comment for it.
