    Well, things haven’t quite gotten back to normal yet, although I have no doubt that any attempt to repeal the laws that allowed some of the above will be heavily protested.

    Yes, like the shameful provisions snuck into the budget prohibiting the Department of Justice from trying Guantanamo prisoners in court. Do we enjoy being an example to the world of the destruction of the rule of law?

    Are you worried about a shackled prisoner sneaking into the cockpit, overpowering the pilots, and crashing the plane? Or are you worried about the truth getting out, that we’ve been holding people for eight years with no evidence of wrong-doing?
