Is she giving him a box containing a GOP holiday message which reads “Pull yourself up by your bootstraps already, you worthless, parasitic drain on society!”

Read “Who really cares” by Arther Brooks, a self proclaimed liberal who researched charity and found conservatives as a whole are much more charitable than liberals. (But the main difference was secular vs religious. Religious are more charitable than secular, regardless of liberal vs conservative. It’s because conservatives are more likely to be religious.)

Republicans donate slightly more and to more specific causes.

Actually most of what conservatives give to charity is to their church, those multi-million dollar mega churches do not come cheap; their donations to non-religious charities are minimal.

“Thanks. But I really could use help more than one day a year.” (Two, if she also does this on Christmas.)

To tell you the truth, I am totally confused as to what constitutes “conservative” or “liberal”.

I’m slow to change because I want to look at all sides of a question, rathe than knee-jerk a reply. And yet I understand that being a homosexual is a biological condition, not a choice. While I would never consider an abortion for myself, I can see why some women feel that is their only option.

Middle of the road. Is that an option?

Give a person a meal, and you feed them for a day. Give a person a living wage, and you feed them for life.

The problem with depending on the fickle generosity of individuals is that you can’t depend on it. Taking care of the poor and the infirm is the province of the people through their government where all pitch in to care for all who require help.

We have been given the old Trump Bullsh*t. We have been given police brutality. We’ve been given Trump winning and taking advantage of America. We’ve been given an unpopular loser president. We’ve been given birtherism. We’ve been given a less stable Syria. We’ve been given insults to the military. We’ve been given Trump’s greed. We’ve been given Trump’s lies. We’ve been given Trump’s debt. We’ve been given a roll back of policies which helped people. We’ve been given racism for an immigration policy.

Here in Houston it is illegal to camp under ramps and free ways. So no homeless setting up camps to live in here. Some people do lay down for awhile to sleep. They usually don’t stay long. But I never call them in. If they are that bad off, I don’t need to be a Grinch about it.

What’s the hand reaching out of the wall all about? I see it’s going towards the pocket, which appears to have something in it, but I don’t get it.
