Repeating the same comment I made on Mike Luckovitch’s excellent cartoon, because the same point applies: Trump calls the press the “enemy of the people” (echoes of Hitler’s Lügenpresse) and singles out CNN who then receives a live pipe bomb in the mail.

Trump supports calls to “lock her up” in regard to Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server (which was never actually breached; only the DNC server was), even though his own top advisors have reported to the New York Times that Trump himself uses an UNSECURE iPhone that is routinely intercepted by Chinese and Russian intelligence. Two years after Hillary is out of the picture, he continues to attack her, and then she receives a live pipe bomb in the mail.

Trump repeatedly makes insults against Eric Holder, Maxine Walters, Barack Obama and George Soros, and whaddayaknow? They all receive live pipe bombs in the mail.

Trump is an accessory to attempted murder.

All public people have got to be aware that there is always one Chapman in the bunch willing to take their shot at infamy to please the blessed leader.

Trump is responsible for this…but I doubt that he will lose any sleep over it.

For information, Rogers’ former employer, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, has replaced him with a reputedly conservative cartoonist. Probably Rush Limbaugh doodles.

Tell me again why we persist in having a mutually exclusive, self-centered, unresponsive to the public, two opposing party system that is effectively dysfunctional and on the verge of violence.

It doesn’t take many rabid followers for this hateful amplifier Trump. People have already been killed in Trump’s name, bombs are showing up on doorsteps. He is okay with this, it isn’t like his money was threatened.

In other words, not exactly what was portrayed in the initial coverage.

Could be a right winger doing a dry run or sending a message.
