I heard on NPR that studios may be passe, since a lot of artists can record in different parts of the world and collaborate online. All it takes is one geek with a good app to mix it all together.
Mine was black and white until I logged in, then I got color.
Listening to the Beatles right now. Of course, Abbey Road’s not doing so well, and recording studios are becoming endangered due to the advances in home recordings and degression in the need or desire for good sound on pop recordings.
Color wqas corrected so the gripers got results, but too late to enjoy them, I guess. Like Crabbing Jews who never got to see the promised land. maybe a message in there somewhere?
The comics are posted to the wire service in different formats and it is up to the user to pick the correct one for his media. Color used in a B+W newsform would look cruddy.

This is meant for newspapers printing only in grayscale.

I’ve noticed that with several strips on GoComics.

^Yeah, I was noticing the same thing. Is color more expensive to put up online?
Not sure I get what’s so over the top with Alex’s comment. True, she didn’t have to give an example, but it wasn’t obnoxious or anything.

The 10/5/09 version is in color - wonder why they just didn’t use that?

Most of the strips in my gocomics.com e-mail today are B&W.

I’m with Patricia, I always have color.

The color is back.
The black and white version is now a collector’s item - like postage stamp misprints.
