Calvin – the plumber’s bank account’s best friend.

I was wondering why Calvin didn’t just ask his parents to call a plumber, before realizing that the plumber’s probably off rescuing a princess from a giant fire-breathing turtle monster.

Good old learning-by-doing. Sometimes the way to find out how NOT to do something.

Step one is to find the water shutoff valve. Then people will wonder why the toilet doesn’t flush and the shower doesn’t work.

Speaking from a life in academics, plumbing is more financially rewarding than professing.
