Coming from an Eisenhower Republican upbringing, I have to admit that I’m completely flummoxed by the reasoning behind supporting Trump’s dictator-like quelling of our basic rights and freedoms. Personally, I’d like to see a leader whose confidence is based on advanced knowledge and successful accomplishments, rather than base emotions and business bankruptcies.
Trump’s recent religious EO should be considered a violation of the First Amendment as well. I hope some Muslim or other non-Christian groups apply to see if they get the same access as Christians.
