It’s not so much whether Hollywood is God’s department. It’s the fact that Hollywood has been opposed to God and His ways for years. He is too much of an obstacle for the fantasy life they want to live.

Not always. Once they made many good positive movies about faith such as The Shoes of The Fisherman and The Bishop’s Wife and The Bells if St. Mary’s. It’s only been recently they’ve turned on religion and Christianity in particular. This country once had a much broader view of Christians too. Now it’s jist the Fundamentalists.
