She was a classy woman and had dignity. She was loved by both Republicans and Democrats and by the American people. She loved her family and she rule the family with a iron fist and all in the family knew it.
She was certainly a classy dame. I remember the anecdote when a young person couldn’t believe Barbara Bush was one the one dollar bill! She laughed right along. Another piece of our past faded away.
I am in mourning for Harry Anderson and Carl Kassel who also passed away yesterday. I’ve put Mrs Bush in the Superdome of my mind palace and I’ll get to her later.
This is one of the reasons why I like “Two Party Opera” so much. You know how to show respect where it’s due. And Mrs. Bush was due respect. Even if you disagreed with her family politics, she earned our respect.
Have too admit, she did not try to be other than she was. The worst I really heard repeated was that she looked like she was George Herbert Walker Bush’s mother.

I will say this on both Two Party Opera and Prickly City: Whether you liked her husband or her son, you have to admit she was one heck of a woman!

I certainly didn’t agree with her family’s politics, but I actually DID like Barbara Bush. R.I.P. “America’s Grandma”!

Brian, once again you and and TPO have outdone yourselves by showing the love in the passing of America First Lady.
