You should always read the comics first.

It is especially annoying when Woody gives his little “snerk snerk snerk” over the funny bits.

Why not just clip out Snoopy and Marmaduke for Woody and keep the rest?

Honestly, Wilson, will you never learn? If you hadn’t taught Woody to fetch the paper in the first place, you wouldn’t have this problem. But, y’know, possession is 9/10 of the law.

Reading them isn’t so bad, it’s the drool…. it makes the ink run.

Well, yes, Wilson, you’re right….

and hindsight is grand.

But for now…. don’t fret.

Wrinkles can be smoothed out….

and if bits of drool have smeared the ink a bit here and there,

and doggy claws have pierced a few holes whose centers can’t be recovered…

You can always ask Woody to tell you the punchlines…

after all, he’s already read all the strips.

I save the best for last. Besides, after reading all that bad news, we all could use a laugh.

….especially with Woody rubbing his butt all over Jumble.

Suddenly Woody remembers his Paper Training.

Woody dood doody… Dood…

just take the paper and roll it up and shake it at Woody. I am so glad I didn’t attempt to name him. I would have been very wrong. Like that is real new for me.

At least the political cartoons are on the Editorial pages.

Wilson shouldn’t have named the dog Dennis.
