Or that she’s showing appreciation for the product that took the most effort to reach the market and has a flavor that is mostly natural. Flavored tap water? Its only growth is as a must have for the uninformed who have been conditioned to think someone else can do it better.

I live in Northern Ontario, we grow pine cones. I remember the first time I taste a peach that had ripened on the branch. I felt both elated and profoundly cheated. I had no idea how different a tree ripened fruit tasted compared to its supermarket counterpart.

everything is better right off the vine, bush or tree, unfortunately we have gotten used to having everything year round, and have forgotten to enjoy the pleasures of everything in due season.

I think we have a controversy here.

At least the sugary, flavored tap water from nearby is cheaper than the distilled tap water from New Jersey.

Of course the “artificially flavored” sugar water has to make a pretense of tasting like something. The “natural” fruit, selectively bred for maximum shelf life, has no such obligation.
