Imagine those batteries.

It’s just a plot device.

This is actually a possibility for futuristic tombstones. A weatherproof monitor, a repeating video or text description of a person’s life, or connected to roaming internet, and recharged through solar batteries.

That looks like an unnecessary Overview page.

There are headstones with photographs of the deceased etched into the stone with a lazer, so this would be the next step.

I wonder if you’d have to have advertising on your bio to pay for the upkeep of your grave? After watching a few seconds of an ad, the person reading could tap on the Skip Ad button to bypass to your bio.

Install a version of Siri with the decedent’s voice, coupled with a proximity detector. Imagine the possibilities!

Good idea except for vandals.When my friend died they put her picture on her stone.The next time I saw it , it was ruined by target practice.

The comments caused more chuckles than the cartoon! I imagine a digital screen/grave marker for outdoors and powered by solar IS possible right now- trouble is people would probably it as soon as it was placed …
