Fifty-two million dollars (some of it from Russia) is what the NRA spent in our 2016 general elections

99.99995% of the money went for Republicans

0.00005% of the money went for Democrats

    NRA success rate:

    by money: 94.4%

    by candidate: 73.3%

    We’ve noted your motives

    We’ve noted your feelings

    This isn’t – blood money – it’s a fee

    A fee nothing more

And we’d have gotten away with it too, if it hadn’t of been for those meddling kids…

Steve Bannon is a board member of a company called Cambridge Analytica which boasts about their “weaponized AI propaganda machine”. The U.S. military uses their service in the field of counter terrorism.

Cambridge Analytica specializes in the mass manipulation of thought. The company pushes micro-targeted posts to specific audiences, looking for the tipping point where someone’s political inclination can be changed, just a little bit. These intellectual salesmen hit every sub-perceptual lever in order to bypass our conscious barriers.

Cambridge Analytica is one subsidiary of a U.K.-based firm called Strategic Communication Laboratories that does business in “psychometrics,” an emerging field concerned with applying the big data approach to psychology and the social sciences. SCL also claims secretive but highly paid disinformation and psy-ops contract work on at least four continents. Among its services is the practice of “election management.” It is riding to fame on the coattails of Donald Trump’s ascension to the White House, for which it claims no small degree of responsibility.

Its parent company claims to have exerted material influence over elections and other geopolitical outcomes in 22 countries. Strategic Communication Laboratories, with Cambridge Analytica as its agent, claims to be a mindshare broker of the highest order.

Money baby! Its the reason telecoms can charge us $150 for basic cable and crappy internet in some areas, why some of us pay $500 a month for health insurance and have a $3,000 deductible to meet first, and why companies like Walmart who make billions off outsourcing are against jobs coming back in the U.S.

These kids will never be able to outspend the gun manufacturer lobby. However, they can motivate voters who don’t want more school shootings. These survivors of gun massacres have something the NRA will never have, the righteous conviction of patriots doing the real work of our Democracy.

The NRA is more popular than the Congress and the President. That’s because we understand that it isn’t the guns that caused these tragedies. We had weapons with the same rate of fire and more power seventy years ago, lots of them. We even took rifles to school for rifle club. Nobody got shot. Bllame the self indulgent jerks of your generation.
