To all those who doubted my characterization of trump as mentally ill, what do you think now, after even more data points? When political cartoonists draw the reality, I think the madness is becoming increasingly obvious, don’t you?
We are at the bottom of the barrel in looking for replacements. Can people go any lower or sell their souls any cheaper? You would have to shower when you got home after a day around Trump and his sleazy cabinet.
hhmmmm….back in the ‘60s, when I was a teenager spouting all the usual teenage ’60s stuff, my father would calmly say, "You’re stating all the problems but offering nothing in place of them." So, if the swamp was the problem, I guess we should have asked what would replace the swamp once it was drained. We’re almost at the bottom, and guess what’s at the bottom of the swamp? Bottom-feeders. sigh.
The saddest part is that many local gov’t jails are run exactly this way. The amount of state funding they receive – which far outstrips what they get from local taxes – is dependent upon how full they can keep the cots. I estimate that 35% of all spots in the local gaol are transferred from the other end of the state….

Nowadays, DC bus drivers tell their passengers to brace for a bump when they drive past the White House.

“Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there’s nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger. …”
(Henry V, Act-III, Scene-I, Lines 1-5)
