Reminds me of the trauma when I discovered this pinching tradition in second grade. I was nearly black and blue until I found I had green stripes on my socks to ward off those stupid fingers.

Calls for special St Pat’s Day strategy. Remove towel. Pinch away.

A pinch would have led to a lot more fun – Janis the kill joy. And if Arlo would have been man enough to have just ripped off the green towel in panel 2 , panels 3 & 4 would have been a lot more interesting.

If you don’t wear green on St Pat ‘s Day, you get pinched, because you’re not Irish without a touch o’ the green. And everybody is NOT Irish on St. Pat ’s Day, they just act Irish, so they can eat corned beef and cabbage and drink Irish Coffee and whiskey (and green beer, which is awful any way you think of it! Give me Irish Coffee!!!)

Actually blue is the color that was usually associated with Saint Patrick. These days I don’t recommend you pinch anyone despite the color they are wearing.
