This is why I was opposed to having Uber and Lyft expand to Upstate New York since they still don’t vet their drivers. I’d rather that the Federal Government and NYS give more money to CDTA (Albany’s bus service) and GGFT (Glens Falls’ bus service) so they can extend their services out to Hadley, where I am. When you live in Upstate New York outside of cities like Albany, Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls and you don’t have a driver’s license, getting around is practically impossible.

Granted, I haven’t used UBER that often, but so far every driver I have gotten was quite presentable.
