I just give my device to my 7 year old grandson and in a jiffy it is fixed.

I used to have a semi-smart phone but graduated to the smart one. It’s still smarter than I am.

I don’t have a smart phone, but that’s because I spent 38 years in IT and don’t buy technology that I don’t need. No connected thermostat, door lock, tennis ball, etc.

I like the smart phone for the calendar (helpful when making Dr. Appointments & a few other features, but I don’t hold it 24hrs. Just when I need it.

I’ll bet you would get the same reaction from a tv tech 60 years ago.

It seems almost useless to repair a phone; whatever one you have now, will be obsolete in a few months anyway. Oh, and I’ve never paid more than $100.00 for a smartphone. It’s the principle…
