They’re trying. As one meme put it: The same people who said a 13 or 14 year old could provide Roy Moore consent are now saying a 17 or 18 year old doesn’t have a right to speak their minds about gun control!
They may not be able to ban teens but I’m sure with all that is going on now there is a lot of talk in right-wing circles about raising the voting age to something more reasonable. Like 50.

The guy who was too crazy to go into the military but he leads the NRA gave a speech today blaming everyone for the murders except guns.
NRA and GOP have totally politicized guns, they won’t even allow people to talk about the ultra liberal gun laws.
The people who misread the 2nd amendment want to blame the protesters for using the 1st amendment.
