Actually we should just get rid of religions and philosophy and just worship money and it’s holy work… the eternal harmony of supply and demand…the infinite machinery of a perfect monetary universe. and there’s so many experts around us preaching on the street corners. The invisible hand of a monetary god making water run almost uphill…according to the pundits.

Govmnt jobs are about equal with private sector jobs. Now if the govmnt taxes the gvmnt worker it will eventually run out of taxes. So lets increase taxes on the private sector! Hence the begining of socialism. How is Greece & Spain liking it? Look what England is doing, cutting 400,000 govmnt jobs.

In New York, Gov. Mafio Cuomo “created” hundreds of state jobs in order to look good and get his family and buddies on the gravy train. They were nothing jobs and the next mean old Gov cleaned them out. I hope Android Cuomo doesn’t pull the same thing. NY is very hard on the working private sector.

    Ruff, my point was…

If all we had was govmnt workers, and they are taxed, their own taxes would not cover their own salaries.

That’s why there needs to be at least 2/3rds private sector jobs vs govmnt jobs.

Government jobs do not sustain themselves, outside (tax) sources (private sector) are necessary.

Your also the first person to get my name right! Kudos to you!

Very well until the wall street wolf pack began speculating on Greece’s debt. Derivatives can bring down nations. Attacking a nation’s social safety net is like taking Antacid to cure a headache. Germany wanted to ban derivatives but the markets that are engaged in them are in the U.K. and the U.S. Here at home people’s 401(k)’s have hit rock bottom (mine included).
