Please contact your senators and congressman to get them working on gun control. No one needs a M16 rifle.

If you lose self-respect and vote for greedy. irresponsible, self-serving politicians who have no respect for you and your children this neglect will continue for a long time. Those who seek power are rarely the ones who can manage it very well, yet these are the people that political parties seem to attract. No wonder the plurality of voters register as independent or unaffiliated and end up voting for the least evil. There are many good competent people, but the parties do not seem to attract them. I wonder why?

School shootings: Is Trump for or against? If he mentions anything about gun control it will piss of his base and they will not bow down to him and praise him. Of course, he doesn’t care about what the “liberal media” and their fake news has to say about the issue.

“If you love Trump, stay home on election day.” – pass it on.

This toon nailed it, as we have tragedy layered on top of tragedy. Time to compensate the fallen teachers.

The one encouraging thing I’m seeing this time is that the congressional prostitutes are getting called out with tweets, comments, etc. that point out how much money they are being paid by NRA. Let’s keep it up. Sorry if I am being repetitive. I think we must keep it up to have an effect.

    From my state:

    US Sen. Richard Burr $6,986,620

    US Sen. Thom Tillis $4,418,012

The online OED has a very succinct definition for these folk:

Prostitute: 1.1 A person who misuses their talents or behaves unworthily for personal or financial gain. As in: ‘careerist political prostitutes’

When I hear Trump drone on about “mental health” I think “It takes one to know one”.

When Republicans are thrown out of office in November we can start talking about it.
