I am not sure how many more survey questions I will come up with, but I have one for this week. This is another one that will need two threads. This one will be for the newspaper comics. What are some of you favorite scrolls. One resent one I liked was the one about the shelf collapsing from the weight of 1,000 naps.
The moment you think that you are getting the hang of parenting, you’ll get hit with teething, a developmental leap, a sleep regression, AND a plague of hairballs all at once. Source: have baby and cat. Please send coffee.
Truly a dire situation indeed Elvis. My Dean also likes to chase and attack the broom as well as the mop (it’s a Rubbermaid Reveal), cleaning is even more of a chore when he “helps”
Love Lupin face planted and the Woman’s facial expression as she moves the walker – why does stuff squeak loudly when you’re trying to move it quietly :)
Managed to get close to – and pet! – Dixie’s latest rescue yesterday. Turns out “Daytona” is really a “Dianna” – and I think she may be pregnant. (My sister insisted on changing her name.)
Good morning and a happy Caturday to all obsters and their orbabies. I hope you are all keeping well on this sunny but cool (for us here in Barrie, anyway) day. I love the woman’s cringe in the 4th panel. I’m pretty sure all parents have been there, hoping to get stuff done and not wake the baby up.
I like that the banner in the lower 3rd of the “screen” (panels 2 & 5) has the CN logo. Looking more like cable news channels. Haven’t seen any comments about that. Is that new, or have we seen that before?
Georgia tweeted another video of the cat tree being vacuumed while Lupin is bathing atop it, and totally ignoring the vacuum. Thing is, she captioned it “There are actually many advantages to owning a deaf cat.”
A really hilarious thing happened to me this morning that is related to this arc: I was looking for a bottle of shower gel (I got tons of the stuff for Christmas and my birthday last November), rummaging through a big plastic container of random stuff from when I was moving. Well, I opened a green plastic box and what pops out but PACKING PEANUTS! Arggghhh! lol! And they really DO seem to multiply! I thought of Pucky, “I am part of the infinite.” haha!
Watching that arc makes me wonder how difficult making a bed with 3 adventurous newscaster cats would be. I would give it up. I could never make a bed with even 1 cat around.

Spoiler Alert, scrolls from the original comics that haven’t made it to the newspaper yet.

Elvis woke up again. I see Lupin is in the chair thingy, and the baby is in the carrier. And the packing peanuts are everywhere.

Don’t stop! Sweep faster! They’re still multiplying!

I named my cat Nature, because she abhors the vacuum.

I notice the air high-five disturbed the peanuts – again!

But for how long have the People pulled this off? Minutes? Seconds? Milliseconds?

Will Lupin share his new toy with Elvis and Puck?

I can see packing peanuts everywhere except where the scroll says they keep appearing.

In the last panel it’s raining green Cheetos, er packing peanuts
tricksterson about 6 years ago
I dunno Man, the peanuts may breed too fast for a broom to do any good. A flamethrower might be needed

You wouldn’t think an item like this would need all those packing peanuts. Maybe a few of those air-filled plastic film pillows at most.
Mary Ellen about 6 years ago
I think the peanuts are just materializing out of thin air now.

I love how this comic is just so accurate. I mean everything you do sounds so loud when your trying to be quiet!
