Yesterday for the third time I had someone who was “really interested in my house and wanted to come back for a second look” fail to show up.

There is no honesty, integrity or sense of fair play anywhere on the horizon.

I have never known a good Republican.

Rocky, sounds like you are a victim of your own making. If you say you have never known a good Republican, you are truly not being honest yourself, or showing a sense of fair play, since I have known a lot of good people of both persuasions. Come on now, stop being so vitriolic.

I have to agree with beenthere41… there are indeed good members on both sides, you just have to find them.

Maybe that potential buyer saw your Obama shrine and thought the stench may never go away. Just a thought.

I have had a few good Republican friends who were politicians even. Then again, I have seen quite a few who were anything but good.

    Rock,

Just a suggestion. Take a break from politics. You’re not thinking clearly.

econ 101….excess printed paper currency (tied to nothing more tangible than “faith”) creates value-LESS “money”…. when someone…maybe a government, overseas, maybe a “disgusted” citizen…..starts a “money rejection” movement, better duck for cover….

There isn’t enough gold to go back on the gold standard. It is interesting how when we flushed tarp money down the drain, hedge fund managers were the first to dive into the sewer pipe to retrieve “theirs”. Boosting the economy is needed, boosting the moral “dumpster divers” is not. Let’s clean the sewers, and put the digesters (sewer workers know what I mean) back into the system.

The polarization that is getting worse every day is disheartening. We knock each other so easily on these sites but I think in person it would be different. As a conservative I don’t see liberals as enemies. It is too bad the loudmouths on both sides are driving us farther apart and focusing on the differences. We are all Americans. I can disagree without being disagreeable.

Alcors, amen. Respectful discourse is one of the founding principles of this country. We start spitting venom at each other because we disagree… that’s sad.
