I wonder if future generations will be horrified at how easily politicians were able to ideologically divide and delude the country for their personal gain?
I hear they are hoping for a terrorist attack and blame the Democrats to win in 2018. If you think that is unlikely, Bush ignored intel and 3000 died on 9/11 and his numbers went UP!! Americans are sad.
What it is is a sad reality. And most of them seem to have a hardened heart over it. A form of the misnamed “Social Darwinism” based upon might makes right and the White Right is correct in their eyes. So it is racial, theosophical, classist and all around bullying and killing on a national scale. What ever they take from is always changed to fit their preconceptions of what the world should be.
Trump (and the Republicans) wants (most) of the govt to close down. Oh their fan favorites like the military and spy agencies will stay funded. Just the stuff they loath like Social Security, SNAP, Medicare and Medicaid can and will hurt people who need them to survive. Libertarianism is like that. The hidden eugenic aspect to it. If you and I can’t survive in the kind of society they want, it is our fault for being so weak so “evolution” will weed us out. And it would all without Death Camps.
