This is why you don’t let toddlers play with pets without supervision. I don’t blame Marm one bit for getting into that cage!

I couldn’t tell, did he go to the crate by himself or was he put there. I hope he went to his crate on his own and was not put in the crate, if you don’t teach your kid how to be around an animal then don’t bring them around.

Any dog regardless of their training, will reach a certain point—‘Marm’ reached his and to avoid embarrassing his mistress took his own steps—bravo, ‘Marm’ ! ! !

MY DOG IS MY CO PILOT  about 6 years ago

An ex friend of mine has a 10 year old daughter who followed me when I took my dog Shilo for a walk. I didn’t want her to come with me as she really is an annoying spoilt little brat. Shilo loves to chase crows and when he saw one he ed barking at it. This brat grabbed hold of Shilo’s ears and screamed SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP right into Shilo’s face. I shouted at her You do Not treat my dog like that leave him alone. She went home and she must have told her mother what had happened as the now ex friend hasn’t spoken to since. I don’t care. I would rather lose a friend than worry about how her daughter will treat my dog if she’s around Shilo again.

I don’t blame him. That’s what people don’t realize what their kids do to animals.

The brat’s parents are at fault. Heaven forbid if Maraduke would’ve responded…..

My 2 pit bulls (one almost 80 pounds, affectionately known as Jaws of Death) love my grandkids to pieces but I always supervise when they’re together, everything has it’s limit

Some parents have no idea that there is a large gap in training a child – namely, how to treat animals. We need to treat animals with respect. They can bite or claw us and they choose not to – unless we mistreat them. Animals cannot speak, so the parent needs to speak up and show the child…

I understand about the ex-friend, My Dog Is My Co-Pilot, and it is really too bad that some parents don’t get it. I would have done the same thing.

His mother seems to be one of those parents who just look on and not bother to do anything.

My dearly departed Shep/Lab mix, used to take this from kids and cats! She never hurt one hair on their heads, but was still the best guard dog I ever had!
