Trump has taken a position which is neither safe, nor politic, it is not popular, but his Republican handlers tell him it is right.

During an interview on ABC’s ‘This Week’ on Sunday, Representative John Lewis asserted that President Donald Trump is “a racist.”

Oh, Trump is not a racist; he’s just pretending to be in order to get the racist vote. So there’s nothing wrong with that.

How interesting… Mr. Breen is my hometown newspaper editorial cartoonist. I read the actual paper every morning an notice that the cartoon in today’s paper is similar in execution, but uses a different quote than the one here. I heard someone on TV say, ‘Trump is not a racist, he just says racist things.’

And here is the problem… Trumps concience tells him that he is RIGHT. Trump is not burdened with self-doubt, an intellect or contained by ignorance. His solipsism demands that his every thought is liquid gold, that every utterance is brilliance personified and that he is without blemish or fault.

I was going to post a derogatory comment here after reading MLK’s quotation in Steve Breen’s cartoon, BUT you guys have already said the kind things that I was going to post so much more eloquently than I could have done that I need not add to your wisdom. Well said……………
