I have a slightly ‘different’ take on Donnie’s continual lying and denial he’s ever said the awful, racist, bigoted, misogynistic things he’ said, over the years. I, of course, know that he’s SAID those things but I ALSO believe that he believes he DIDN’T say them! You see, being both a pathological liar and a narcissist is a ‘lethal’ mental mix! The Pathological Liar part of him indicates that he’ll say ANYTHING that will “get him what he wants”, in the moment, while the “Narcissistic” part of his brain will NOT ACCEPT any reality other than that he is the Best, he is the Greatest and that he is NEVER WRONG!
So this creates a Donald John Trump that says whatever the listener WANTS to hear, while two seconds later, it’s entirely possible for him to say the complete opposite with complete confidence and utter sincerity! Donnie’s brain SELF-EDITS! He alters his perception of reality “on the fly” so to speak and I personally don’t think he even realizes he’s doing it! He is a deeply flawed person attempting to live up to his perception of himself a a perfect individual!
