There was a time when even running a white Irish Catholic was dubious – now a black man is running. Not that you should vote for him because he is black, but the fact that he can run at all is what this one is about. This cartoon is not saying MLK would inevitably vote for Obama, though some have – instead, it is saying that Obama is an example of MLK’s dream, which I think is fair indeed.
