I would expect the president, especially one who “defends” it against protesters, to know the words to the Star Spangled Banner. That son of a b—-h hears the song more than anyone else, and he can barely sing some of the words. Before lecturing football players about respecting the national anthem MAYBE LEARN THE WORDS to it.
“I pledge allegiance to the Constitution of the United States of America and to the republic which it established. One nation from many people, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.” An alternative, not a parody.
