The loose spring in the middle of the seat is a great aid.

Since Trudie has gotten a bit…uh…wider, exiting the recliner without a prybar can be considered quite a feat indeed!

That new blue counter weight may seem counter intuitive but it’s just too good to be Trudie.

One small step for Trudie…….one giant leap for Seniors Citizens. Next…….conquering of recliner napping.

My husband pulled a muscle in his leg and couldn’t put any weight on it for a couple of days because of the pain. It took both of us to get him out of his recliner. It was quite comedic.

You guys are all so funny. Good start to my day, but, hey, Trudie’s not really there yet. Gravity may still win.

After watching my Mom in her final couple of years struggle to get out of a recliner, I totally understand why this is a major victory for some seniors. Hope and pray you don’t ever suffer from Parkinson’s or other similar neuromuscular disease.
