If Opal gets another cat, Earl’ll get another dog.

Danger! Danger!

I think that’s a grand idea. My current cats may not agree, though.

What? Did you wear out the old one?

Earl, you are going to live to regret that comment. You could do with losing a bit of blubber yourself chum. Remember that it’s Opal who does the cooking. :)

“…but after that remark, I’m thinking maybe a boa constrictor instead.”

And so it begins….

Don’t do it! Cat’s are nothing but trouble. Believe me. I know!

The second step to becoming a crazy cat lady.

Better than running away to find yourself.

If you really want to liven things up, it probably will work better to get a dog.

My cats wouldn’t care. Their reaction would be, “Look. He’s got another one. Okay, newbie, dinner’s at five, the good sleeping spots are taken, and don’t be late for locking up or the coyotes will eat you. And we all share our kills. You get the heads; we get the rest.”

Evil-tempered Muffin isn’t going to like it one bit.

I have had cat for almost 47 years just lost my cat last year, still have his pal and our 2 dogs… keep wanting to get another one…

Whew, what a relief! I was afraid she wanted to replace the Studebaker!

And nobody’s suggested she might want to replace Earl!

Alright Earl, first we flap you for your gym and lose weight comments. Then we get not one but two cats!
