Iranians like Americans, not our government. The same applies for many in Iran toward their own, people and government. Those who like Pence’s views definitely need to take a realistic look at theocracies, Iran, Israel, or Saudi Arabia definitely included.
Trump really needs to shut up. The position of the Iranian government is that the west, and the US in specific, are conspiring to overthrow their government. His support of the demonstrators only adds credibility to their position in the minds of the Iranian public. Keep your mouth shut and let them sort it out. The Iranian government reminds me of my youth growing up in Mississippi during the civil rights movement. The prevailing opinion there was that civil rights advocates were “a bunch of dang comma-nist agitators trying to deeee-stroy the country”.
