Just read an article I thought was interesting. Roy Moore ran for governor of Alabama twice. In a two man race, he lost 66% to 33%. He refused to concede the election to this day. In the other, he came in fourth with less than 20%. He still hasn’t conceded that one either.
Do we really care whether that redneck jackass “concedes” or not? Let him go live in his little alternate reality world. The rest of us will just have to do the best we can without him.
Actually, one ‘politician’ doesn’t need to concede for the other to win, it’s just considered the proper thing to do (in my time it was called the “gentlemanly” thing to do, and Judge Moore can be called MANY things, but a ‘gentleman’ isn’t one of them!)
And to Phil’s “question” about where Judge Moore’s accusers have gone – I understand you ask the question in attempt to cast the whole “pedophilia” thing as some dark, liberal plot to destroy Judge Moore, but the fact of the matter is that his accusers never did “come forward”, they were sought out by the Washington Post reporters in an effort to provide background for the vetting of Moore for the national stage Judge Moore was attempting to appear on. Judge Moore’s proclivities were well-known in his locality of Alabama, it’s just that such things as his being banned from a local shopping center and local “Y” for his activities vis-a-vie young girls and his total disrespect for the U.S. Constitution which got him thrown off the Alabama Supreme Court TWICE obviously didn’t bother his fellow Alabamians all that much. So the Post thought the rest of America might want to know – it was NEVER an “accusation” as such, but a mere statement of fact!
The young ladies NEVER expected any result from their stories except enlightenment of others, so I can’t really see any point to your question.
The purpose of the scythe was the shear the genitals of an overbearing skyfather. In Moore’s case, genital mutilation is …an interesting considering. It would get him out of the mall and family court, and off that poor horse. It’s been a bad year. Hope our next is a happy one for all.

On his tombstone will be written, “I refuse to concede that I am dead.”

Republicans are used to getting a handicap to win with less votes. When Jones got more votes, Moore thought he won.
