To be honest, I dunno if that quote is even relevant to this cartoon, but soon as I saw it, that was the first thing that popped into my head.

Seems like an appropriate quote for all states Simon.

Note that it’s a vote from an old, fat, white guy that is being picked up. Guess what party he backs.

Alaska the new Florida

It looks like a man in a bear suit, going door to door to get votes?

I don’t know, I don’t understand Alaskans.

WTF! are we now sliding into last place in the class contest. Very low indeed. It, with close inspection appears to be a bear and unless it is an inside Alaska joke Bears don’t represent any party and the pigs like both parties are here in the form of unwanted advertising. I think there is no other message than get out and vote. The bear costume is for Halloween and the plane and vote box are likely typical for many remote places.

I think it’s a man carrying a ballot box (presumably filled with voted ballots) to the plane that will carry them to the place where they will be counted. I think the message is that if people can go out in extreme weather to cast their ballots, surely everyone eligible to vote ought to do so.

I’d think Will Rogers and Wiley Post would be casting ballots, but Will was of course a Democrat, so it wouldn’t count after all.
